Payment Infrastructure Is More Than Adding a Virtual POS

When people talk about payment integration, they often think first of virtual POS. In B2B systems, the payment process is wider than that. Bank transfer, credit card, open account, check, bank POS or different payment providers may all be used by the same company in different situations. The real issue is how the payment is reflected in the system and which records it connects to. Is the collection linked to an order? Did it reduce the account balance? Was a failed transaction logged? Is the refund being tracked? Without these answers, payment infrastructure is not complete. Pro2B plans payment infrastructure with an adapter approach. A user can choose the provider they need and enter the required API details. But payment data does not remain only as an integration setting; it works together with orders, accounts, collections and reports. This gives companies flexibility. A company working mostly with bank transfers today may want to activate virtual POS or another provider tomorrow. When the infrastructure is ready, payment stops being a disconnected part of the operation.
